Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager / Logistics Team Lead (m/w/d)

Occasional assignments at our headquarters at Potsdamer Platz may be required depending on business needs (e.g., transportation of smaller materials or internal coordination).

Team Leadership & Coordination 

• Functional leadership and coordination of the logistics team (including international interfaces, e.g. US logistics)

• Delegation and prioritization of tasks within the team

• Review and quality assurance of logistics associates’ work results (e.g. shipment preparation, documentation)

• Support, training, and professional development of team members

 Logistics & Operations 

• Overall responsibility for operational hardware logistics between company sites, test facilities, and international launch sites

• Ensure a structured, clean, and functional organization of the workshop and warehouse area

• Proactive shipment monitoring to prevent hardware or mission bottlenecks

• Responsibility for goods receipt, goods issue, warehouse logic, and regular inventory checks

• Manage orders for consumables and proactively flag requirements for new parts to Purchasing / VP / responsible departments

 International Shipping & Customs 

• Responsibility for import and export processes (particularly Germany / EU / international)

• Ensure correct preparation, review, and filing of shipping and customs documentation

• Close collaboration with internal experts to continuously improve customs and shipping processes

 Processes & Systems 

• Further develop existing and establish new logistics and inventory management processes

• Responsibility for data quality and transparency in inventory and management systems (e.g. Excel-based tools)

• Identify optimization potential to increase efficiency and minimize risks

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in warehouse logistics, international logistics, or supply chain

• Strong experience with import and export processes, ideally including customs clearance in Germany / EU

• Experience in functional team leadership or coordination is an advantage

• Very good German skills (C1) and very good English skills, written and spoken

• Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Valid Category B driving license

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
